- Select 'propose or certify a change' from the shift menu.
- Now, choose the 'Propose a schedule change' option.
- Select 'Split' for the 'Schedule change type'.
- Then, click the 'Next' button to proceed.
- Update the 'Start & End' time.

- The unassigned portion will be listed as nobody in the 'Proposed Schedule Summary.
- Lastly, click 'Save' to post the shift in the 'Swap Meet'.
- It shows the provider assigned to the split in the 'Proposed schedule summary', 'Main' tab, and in the 'Swap Meet'.

- Select one of the providers from the split.

- Now, choose 'Split' as the 'Change Type' in the 'Propose schedule change' window.

- Next, select the 'Start' and 'End' times of the shift
- Now, select option to post unfilled split fragments onto the 'Swap Meet' by selecting the 'List unassigned portions of the shift in the swap meet' check box below.
- Click the 'Next' button to continue.
- Review the 'Proposed schedule change summary' details
- Lastly, click 'Save' to post the shift in the 'Swap Meet'.
- The 'Propose or certify change' has been modified such that a certified split with a segment for the split posted in the 'Swap Meet' results in the re-scheduling of the providers specified for split immediately upon saving the proposal.
- For example, if a provider specifies a certified split for a shift scheduled from 7a through 7p to which they are assigned (from 7a through 7p), with a segment 7a-4p where they are the proposed provider and a segment 4p-7p posted in the Swap Meet, then they will be reassigned to the shift from 7a through 4p when they save the certified proposal.
-
Note however that if any of the providers proposed for the split have the 'Requires approval' limitation specified, then none of the providers proposed for the certified split will be assigned when the proposal is saved. Under these circumstances, the 'certified' option is overridden by the 'Requires approval' limitation.
- It shows the provider assigned to the split in the 'Proposed schedule summary', 'Main' tab, and in the 'Swap Meet'.
